FAQ
Marquee questions, answered
No problem — we can install on concrete or other hard surfaces. Instead of ground pegs, we use water weights to secure the structure — one water drum is required per leg, and the installation area must have close access to a water source. Contact our team for pricing relating to hard-surface installations.
Clear upgrades are available across all Platinum marquees and are priced in addition to the base hire rate. Options include Full Clear (clear roof, gables and walls), Alternating Roof (white/clear pattern), Clear Sides (white roof, clear walls), and Half Clear Sides (L-shape).
Yes. We offer a 10% discount on the base hire rate for assisted set ups — if you can provide 4–5 physically able people to help with installation and pack down, let us know at the time of booking.
We require clear vehicle access to the installation area — for larger marquees, trucks can be up to 3m wide and 10m long. Installation areas must be reasonably level and clear of underground services, overhead lines and obstacles. Let us know early if access is tight.
Our standard hire period is 5 days. For weekend events we typically set up Wednesday or Thursday and pack down the following Monday. Longer-term hires are available subject to availability — chat with our team and we'll work around your event schedule where possible.
Structures over 100m² may require building consent depending on location and duration. Our team can advise during the booking process.
We can supply festoon and ambient lighting inside your marquee — Nick, our lighting expert, can advise on options. Power is required on site within 30m of the marquee.
